This film was initially made for Wolverhampton Art Gallery, for an exhibition about 'Britain in Bloom'. For me, it was more of an exercise in making the largest scale film possible, with a minimum of resources. I was also more interested in the idea of the fight between nature and the city, rather than a decorative flowers approach usually associated with 'Britain in Bloom'.
